  • Registered with South African Nursing counsel (SANC).

Registered Nurse with Experience in Urology

DETAILS

A Urology practice in Pretoria requires the services of a Urology and Uro-Dynamic Nurse

Duties to include (but not limited to):

  • Uro-dynamic studies (for Gauteng Urology as well as other Dr referred patients)
  • BCG Bladder Cancer installations (only Gauteng Urology Practice)
  • Teaching patients to self-catheterize
  • Register on Coloplast system
  • Changing of catheters - supra-public or urethral
  • Sister duties such as removing clips, removing stents, removing catheters, small wound care, injections, collecting of midstream urine, Uro-flow studies, healthcare information on urology patients.
  • Stock control and ordering of stock for practices
  • PMA and application for chronic medication forms
  • Sending urology patients reports to GP's via email
  • Quotations, billing and payments of Uro-dynamic patients and BCG patients on Vericlaim
  • Standing in for receptionist when necessary
  • Traveling between urology practices

Minimum requirements:

  • Relevant nursing degree
  • SANC registration
  • Experience in Urology is non-negotiable
  • MUST have own car (travelling between practices is part of the job, covered by a travel allowance)

Minimum requirements:

  • R20 000 - R23 000 gross depending on experience
  • Bonus in birth-month (must have worked a full year)
  • R1500 travel allowance

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00, Monday to Friday
